NCGTS begins on Thursday late afternoon following Trinity check-in time (from 4:00 – 5:30 pm) and ends Sunday with lunch (provided). There will be an informal reception for participants after check-in and before dinner which begins at 6 pm.
The Trinity Center allows access to both the sound and sea. It is a comfortable place surrounded by nature but it is not a luxury hotel.
Our schedule is carefully planned with rigid parameters, but intentionally flexible for faculty, beginning with small group discussions of the brief “innovation” and “challenge” papers contributed by all participants.
Expect large and small group sessions throughout the day and evening each day of the seminar, with valuable flexible time for connecting with other teachers and self-reflection.
You should expect to attend all day and evening sessions, but you will also have plenty of time for informal discussions and relaxation. We do meet in the evenings and have “in-between” times for processing information & discussions garnered during our large and small group meetings. Reflective time is afforded participants at strategic times during the seminar in order to maximize personal and professional growth.
